TASTING ROOM… COMING SOON!!

An exciting new era for Seabrook Wines is upon us! In 2014 we purchased a beautiful 20-acre vineyard property at the base of Mengler’s Hill in the Eastern Foothills of central Barossa. The vines are about 30 years old and planted 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Mataro and 35% Shiraz, on top of this, the property also boasts a cute Barossa settler’s cottage built in 1854.

We lived in this cottage for 18 months prior to building another house on the property. Lets just say it was very snug! We are excited to announce that the cottage is now in the process of being restored and converted into a quaint Seabrook Tasting Room. The photo above is a progress shot of the external restoration. Next week the stonemason arrives and we will be striping the paint back to the original local bluestone.

News travels along the grapevine fairly fast, however for those who don’t know, Hamish has also left full-time employment to solely concentrate on Seabrook Wines and our other business venture Red Kangaroo Wine Co (Wine Export). Its really exciting to finally be putting more time and effort into growing our own business. Work is progressing fast and we hope to quietly open sometime in December before Christmas. We cant wait to soon welcome you to our own little patch of the Barossa to share our beautiful wines and views and not to mention our killer sunsets!
